Jim Skaleski is currently the general manager and music librarian for the Oconomowoc Chamber Orchestra (OCO), which had its debut concert July 10, 2010. His duties include the direct management of the OCO's affiliate community ensemble "The Lake Country Orchestra." In addition, he is also the President of the West Allis Suburban Concert Band. He currently serves on the board of directors for both organizations.

Mr. Skaleski earned his Certificate in Fine Arts Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (UWEC) in December 2010. His internships included positions with the Eau Claire Regional Arts Center (ECRAC) and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Activities and Programs Office. At the ECRAC, Mr. Skaleski was heavily involved in the technical aspects of the theatre program. He worked stage crew for various local and touring performances. At UWEC, he was a student manager for "Artists Series" and "Forum" events, and acted as a liaison for the guest artists and speakers. He was also a student manager for the University's annual Viennese Ball.

Prior to his internships, he was an undergraduate administrative assistant for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Bands from 2007 through 2008, where his primary duties included tour coordination and planning. Mr. Skaleski was also responsible for the day-to-day operations of the University Bands program, as well as the hosting of events such as the annual UWEC Honor Band and Wind Clinic (formerly Indianhead Honors Band Festival). He was also a collegiate board member for the Gamma Beta chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and the Alpha chapter of the National Band Association.
